The Baptist order of service I used in Jamaica has been revised since coming to Panama. I’ve included the 3 sample patterns that might be useful to you. Of course you may adjust the order to suit your own context.
First Pattern (my standard) Order of Service
The Tributes are in the traditional place for some before the sermon. This is the order of service I used in Baptist congregations I pastored in Jamaica prior to coming to Panama.
Processional/Comforting Sentences
Hymn
Prayer
Scripture Readings
– Old Testament
– New Testament
Selection
Tributes
Offering
Eulogy
Choir/Hymn
Sermon
Prayer for Bereaved Family
Benediction
Recessional
Second Pattern (Revised since Panama)
The tributes are now placed after the sermon. That way persons get to hear the message and the preacher does not feel pressured to wrap up because you are running out of time.

Scripture Readings

Third Pattern (Upcoming revision for next funeral)
The tributes and eulogy comes before the service begins. This way a major issue is resolved. The tributes coming after the sermon sometimes distract from the message just preached. Putting the Tributes before the start of the service allows the sermon to be the last thing persons leave reflecting on.
